Home Organisation

Your home should be your sanctuary: a calm, peaceful place to relax and unwind. For many of us this is not the case. Our busy lifestyles mean that often there are areas in our homes which feel cluttered, unloved, and make us feel anxious and stressed.

We can all identify with that feeling of having a cupboard which needs sorting out, a room which has become a dumping ground, or kitchen cupboards where you can never find anything! This is where I can come in. Putting aside dedicated time to address the space together means that those areas of your home which work their way to the bottom of your to-do list get done!

I keep you focussed on the task at hand, and suggest solutions for storage and systems. You’ll be amazed at how much we can get done together and how great it will feel when we are done.

We can help you restore peace and tranquility to your home.

Life/Edit gift vouchers are LIVE! 🥳
Great news! Many of you have been asking whether life edit is going to echo what many other small businesses are doing in these uncertain times and release some gift vouchers… Well we are, here they are! The best news of all is that if you purchase gift vouchers now (helping us to maintain our cash flow whilst business is paused due to coronavirus) you receive a whopping 25% off our normal fee. All gift vouchers are valid for a whole year and all details are on our website here:
It’s a really great time to make the most of this fantastic offer either for yourself or for someone you know who would appreciate the gift of decluttering and space when we get back to normal.

Hope you are all well and managing in these crazy times. We miss you all. Please spread the word xx

Before COVID was all we knew, Victoria and I had a plan: to officially relaunch today as a decluttering duo as business partners in Life/Edit. As we know, all plans are scuppered just now, but the spirit of being undefeated we are going ahead 💪🏼 (albeit in a non-operational, socially distanced way 😂) Working with V is an utter joy for me. She’s the yin to my yang: the calm, ordered half of our twosome, yet with a wicked sense of humour and twinkle in her eye. She previously ran a decluttering company, but has decided to come and work with me permanently which is a delight as we are a brilliant team. So - as I firmly believe that we will be BACK after this, why wait?
Here she is in her own words:

I’ve always felt a calming effect from being tidy and organised and believe that your home should be your sanctuary. I love helping other people achieve this in their homes and lives which can be stressful enough as it is.
I love organising a cupboard (be it a pantry, under stairs cupboard, craft or cleaning cupboard) closely followed by a bedroom or kids playroom.
I love meeting the amazing people we work with and their joy of the transformation. Also it makes me feel like I’ve been productive and made a difference to someone.
Before this, I studied psychology at uni but worked in property law since graduating in 2003. A couple of years ago I took 12 months maternity leave to have my little girl Ruby.
I love working with Zoë. We both have a passion for the work we do but we also get along really well, have fun and help each other out and bounce ideas off one another. We have very different but complementary personalities. Zoë is brilliant at coming up with ideas and overall picture and I am detail-orientated, you could say we are the vision and precision of Life/Edit 👌🏼 When I’m not decluttering I am: making food for Ruby (what’s with the endless prepping of food for toddlers?); obsessing over pictures of neat drawers and folded socks on Instagram; drinking (decaf) coffee, eating chocolate and watching Disney or martial arts films.

“The best thing we did was hire Zoë to help us update, declutter and home stage our parents’ house. It is a beautiful house and Zoë has made it look its absolute best, really glossy and sale-ready.”

“Zoë’s input to my life was invaluable not only is she very lovely and fun, her approach was gentle and I felt I was happy to let go of lots of things that didn’t need to be cluttering up my life anymore.”
